It is possible that the origin of this Andalusian town is before that
the Moorish time. The most important bulding of the Juzcar is the church of " Santa Catarina", which was built in the 16th century (In 1.505), its history has experienced transformations and diverse reforms Possibly the origin of Juzcar is previous to the Arab time. With the Christian conquest, the stablishmentes that existed Dispersed by the municipality became the populated and met in the present Stablishment. The municipality offers to the visitor places of interestlike the castañar of the Genal.
